Spain!!! August 1, 2008

yes I’m in Spain and having the time of my life!!!today we went to a fortress and an old catholic church…very ancient and interesting…we took tons of pix so I’ll try to post them later…then after that we ate. I ate a “sandwich” it was a big piece of bread w/bacon that’s all that it consisted of…it was kinda lame since it was about 4~euros…then after that we ate ice-cream(coffee)..so yummy!!!and tomorrow we might go to the beach!!!blue water and palm trees!!!

it’s so beautiful over here!!! and very very hot!!! all the people are so nice and friendly!!! O.. it was so cute i woke up and this little boy was just standing there… he looked like he never saw an American sleeping before!! oh and i still haven’t gotten the whole “greeting” thingy down yet…kinda embarrassing….a Lil info. for all you people!!

had lots of time to think these past couple of days about the journey mel has gone through and she has taught me several things. no matter how rough the road ,God is always there and always faithful and he’s right beside you all the way!!! i never knew until now the real meaning of never giving up but now i do!!!

but i never have anything to say well not important anyway. last night was Christmas caroling interesting(*wink to shaina*) !!!! not cool.let me give some advice never purchase items when people you know are around not very smart!!!!!anyway i hope all of you have a splendid Christmas!!!!!!! and a happy new year!!!!!!

time to update…. hey i told you i’d never write since school’d start… anyway this week was busy as normal, school’s going okay if you call okay failing your 1st pace test of the year…oopse=0 anyway enough about school. shaina called me yesterday(actually she calls me everyday..lol) because she wanted me to go w/her to the beach fri-mon but dad said no and to tell you the truth i was not impressed. i’m so glad mel and mom are home!!!! yay not as much work 4 me gotta love that part!!!! everything is still fuzzy in my head that happened this week!!!! and i can’t remember anything … i need to get off so i don’t start rambling to much —ta ta 4 now (i love winnie the pooh by the way…not)—joey—

Hey… i was @ family wk. in V.A. so that’s why i wazn’t writing 4 a while. it was alot of fun, except i waz so sore the whole time and then you could barely move after sitting for 6 hours long but all in all the classes were great and i learned a whole bunch. the night time after supper was the best volleyball from 6-10!!!!! then all the gurlz went to the dorms and hung out in our pj’s for a little bit then dorm time fun fun!!!!!! we had to get up way to early like 6:30 every morning it was a hang over through the classes trying to stay awake =( the people were really awesome made a lot of new friends. it was funny because most of the people i’d seen before but never met!!! the one night some of us went to D.Q. for ice cream!!!! n the funniest moment of all is that most of the people guessed me 17-21 years old and lauren was guessed younger!!! that was funny 4 a while until lauren informed me that when i’m thirty i’ll look like i’m forty =(( hopefully i get to go again next year!!! that’s all 4 now—- JoEy ***

time to update again. its been a little busier for me lately. last week me and shaina went to the beach w/ this other fam from p.a. and had an amazing time! the water was super cool! the crabs were apparantly hungry, because they were eating me and shaina alive! (now our faces are peeling! *frown*) then we went to a sleepover at emmy’s! we had an interesting time! (once we started talking, that is! lol..) we walked really far! (not) no but seriously, it was such a par-tay! thanks, emmo! <33 and then we went SHOP-PING!!! and i got shoes! and my parents luv them! (miracles still do happen, i tell you!) =) today i went with shaina’s family to a b-day party for sabrina sw. yay! she’s a whole seven years old! sooo grown up! james was there. we had an, um, interesting time. nuf sed. he had to go, his station called him. so then we looked at old yrbooks! (ahhh!) we all lookd soo hot! umm, yea. no. toodles! (inside joke..) mucho luvo to u all! <33 JOey***

whoa the week has flown by so fast and school is approaching=(grrr… i do not look forward to it(sigh).but it’ll be awesome to see my friends again!!  n i didn’t even get a tan this summer how horrible(poochie lip). anyways i’m stopping my discontentness.it was a good summer even if it wasn’t the best. so that’s what i’ve been doing w/my boring self =) MISS ALL MY FRIENDS!!! and i love you more than all the stars in the sky!!  hugs and more hugs –joey
